One
of the oldest homes in Sugar Bowl is named "Dukski" after
Donald Duck. There is an old cartoon of Donald Duck skiing and Sugar
Bowl was the backdrop for that cartoon. This project involved restoring
this historic lodge back to its original charm. Walt Disney actually
stayed here on occasion!

Wilderness Lodge
(Alaska)
The
duplex cabin below, complete with bathrooms, was built in May of
1998.

The
newest cabin, which was completed in June 2000, sleeps three, and
has a deluxe ocean view. A gas fireplace will keep guests cozy during
the mild Alaskan summer nights.

Building
in remote southeast Alaska is always a challenge. There are no stores,
every piece of lumber needs to be barged in. That is why Lodge owner
Mike Trotter relies on Mt. Lincoln to plan, organize, and build
these cabins in less than one month just in time for his guests
to arrive for a week of some of the most unforgettable fishing anywhere.
